Wacissa River 10/22

Easy morning and part of the afternoon on the river. Not many folks out at all - I think the low water levels help to keep some of the boat traffic down. The ramp was in kinda skinny water for my boat, but I did see a bigger boat running up and down. Not sure if they launched or lived local. Water was clearest I've seen it in awhile (no rain helps) and the hydrilla has grown up considerably. Didn't fish really hard, just messed around and enjoyed the sun. Caught 3 bass on floating Rapalas and a handful of little bream on the flyrod and poppers. Saw one fella who looked like he was comin' in from duck hunting - but I didn't see much going on for ducks, maybe after a couple more cold snaps they'll show up.
