How long is to long?

How long do you keep fish in the freezer? I always freeze them in baggies with water. How long will they keep?

Frozen in Ziplocks in water I wouldn't use it after 6 months. Get you one of the vacume sealer doodads. Fish will last up to two years vacume sealed and frozen. Of course I normally just keep one good sized trout to make dinner for a couple nights that week. Fresh fish is good fish. Flounder, grouper, and snapper are the only fish I freeze.
