This Wednesday the official forcast for in shore was, "gentle winds out of the NNE" for St Marks Ent.
WellI went with this forcast and went trout fishing. The winds were streight out of the south..and borderline rough.
NOOA hasn't got it right in a long time.
But...there is a storm out there.
Beware. :-?

After moving all over to get away from the red tide, watched the breakers at the mouth of Indian Pass. Looked like the Atlantic. Not much wind, but a lot of wave action. Also, not much fish catching :(

Yes sir, we fished up the lagoon and all around several oyster bars. Saw fish moving, but very few bites. The wind wasn't too bad there on Saturday, but I sure wasn't interested in going Sunday when it was whipping.

I was headed to Crooked Island and was told by the fellow at Half Hitch that the red tide had really rolled in there the day before.

Didn't see you in the Panga, we were in a 23 carolina skiff.

Now that's funny (bout like a sore tooth). We all debated whether that guy was full of it or not and decided to trust him. He said his friend say 1000's of dead fish there. Just can't trust a fisherman's fishing report :smt011
