Alligator Point /Bottoms 10/31/05

Post by 2true »

Tried to fish in front of Alligator point. With the East wind and cooler water it was a total waste of time.

Saw a Coast Guard Falcon jet though. Haven't seen one of those since 1987-88. I guess they were out looking for a boat that went down. The man was in force out by the Ochlocknee bay bridge.

Headed over to bottoms. My buddy lost a nice Redfish :smt013 and we caught some cowfish, short flounder and trout. The east wind started heading out the south.

Went to another part of Bottoms Rd. and caugh one keeper trout (on a mud minnow) and some more short trout and short flounder. It was a hard day of fishing most of the baitfish have already left.

Winter has come soon to the big bend. I remember tearing it up a couple years ago in November.
