Well with low tide @ 10 ish we did not burn light making it too early, and that was a good thing. Breambuster, the son and myself headed out to the not predicted forecast for sure, NOAA was again wrong, and 5 - 10 and 1-2 was for sure 10 - 15 and 2-4, not till very later in the afternoon did it lay down enough. The bite was tough at best, maybe a couple bites here and there, catch one grunt or Seabass, very little action at each stop till much later in the day.
We were at our next to the last stop, and again very slow, so I decided to rig a live pin, stick the rod in the holder, and settle back and relax for awile, if something happened (not likely) if I did not get to it in time someone would catch it. Well much later breambuster gave out a yell fish-on, and we were all about to see what action has happened since its been a very long time between bites. Brandon grabbed the rod, whatever was on was none to happy, and the bad thing is since we were all laxed before the bite whatever was on already inherited the lines of two other rods, this can not be good.
Fight lasted enough to see nice keeper Cobia making a mess, and clearing these lines was way past to late. We tried and tried to get it close enough to stick it, first try, not close enough, second to deep,

well three strikes and your out and the fouled lines were strike 3 and off he went.

Tried a rerig and see if anyone else was home, and not, so we were off to the last stop. Now the last stop seemed to be the most promising, however they better bite quick, its getting late, and sunset is soon. Breambuster gets first keeper, then some grunts, then I get a short, and and finally get a keeper, but still very slow, we tried all we could, nice day later on, got a few fish, could have been better.
Sunset pics on the way in
