Slow day on the water. Go there at sunrise and caught a few shorts on top water and missed countless others. had something really big I thopught was a red but it came off. Caught shorts all day long on shrimp and jigs. Got into some spanish and monster blue fish, im talking 5 or 6 pounds. Then the tide went super low and the bite stopped completely. Decided to call it a day around noon.

2 keeper trout 18"
1 20" spanish
a bazillion short trout
many lost jig heads

Tight lines and blue skies- Capt. K

That's still not bad. My last time out I didn't bring any keepers in.
A big spanish can just about out-fight anything on the water! :lick:
