Got on the water at daylight, cold and windy with a fast falling tide. Ran to Bear creek and started catching right off the bat

between daylight and 10:30 I landed no less than 40 "YES 40" Bass

but it took that many to get my 5 keepers

which is expect in Bear creek, you go there for catchin more than for keeping

made a quick run to Shell river to see if I could find a Red, but could not locate any this time

I expect that they will be moving in at any time now though

Water temp was at 56 and the fish only hit a Rattlin Rouge, jiggled on top "maybe 4 fish hit while running it under the water"

Home by 11:30, eating fried Bass and Shrimp by 12:30

All in all, a very good day
