I remember a few 100 trout days from years gone by fish'in with Dad. It seemed like either a cold front was getting ready to come through (I mean a 19-20 degree cold front) or it had been real cold for a long time and fish packed into deep holes. It hasn't gotten that cold here in quite a while.

Dixie- come to think of it I had one of those days last year down in Spring Creek... Every cast "pow" I guess we need one of those "power-fronts" to move on thorugh.... maybe this weekend?

Yeah, a real cold front will get 'em going, right in front of it is best.
Right now, reds seem to be our best catch. Don't know why.
And I remember your 100 trout trip to Spring Creek. Trips like that
are hard to forget. Something to think about when fish don't bite.
