Not much to tell. On the water around 9:00, little lower than expected, little windier than forcasted. Not many people there either. Didn't fish the river went straight to some creeks, barely got in them. Tried shrimp and grubs with no luck. At 2:00 we hadn't caught a fish. Finally moving from 1 creek to another , we saw fish moving around at the mouth of a creek. Stopped there and got into the short reds, almost every cast. Only 1 keeper but at least we were catchin something. Spent the rest ofthe afternoon hitting everybar(sounds like a drunk) at the mouth of a creek. Caught more short reds and finally 1 keeper trout.
I geuss maybe the fished have moved out to the mouth of the creeks posibbly because of the not so cold days we had recently.Water temp was around 51-53 degrees. Was disappointed to say the least, figured if I could get in the creeks I would get them. Maybe some others had better luck than me.
Still beat working. Considering changing my name to "Fishin1" :-D

Good effort there catchin1  Sounds like the fish are very specific as to location and if your 10 or 12 ft one side or the other you'd swear there ain't no fish. Thanks for the report.
"Good Judgement" comes from experience, ... and a lot of that..... results from "Bad Judgement".

I think your right. I thing I forgot to report, when I was cleaning the 1 redfish we had, I noticed he had a lot of spots, 12 in all. Not too rare but not too common.

BTW I'm trying Keatons Friday, weather permitting.
Haven't ruled out going somewhere tommorow.
Anybody heard anything good going on in the Aucilla?
