Got on the water about 1:00 pm and it was very foggy. Stopped in the river and picked up two keeper trout on 5211 mirror lure. Didn't get another bite for about an hour so I ran about a mile west to a creek. My son put on a jig-head and a live shrimp and immediately hooked up with a 17 in trout. I joined him with the jig and shrimp. We rounded a corner and picked up two small reds, practically at the same moment. Over the next hour we put 43 reds in the boat....only two keepers. They were all in the same spot. I've never had the thrill of catching reds like that. My son and I had a wonderful time. Oh yea, got ready to leave and gave her full throttle and hit a rock. Broke the skeg and folded a portion of my steel prop. Got to get to Porter's marine. Could someone give me a phone # for him?
