I just bought a 2006 216 Bay Reef with a 225 Evinrude E-Tech two weeks ago. It is a fine boat!!!! I am extremely happy with it. Key West makes a excellent product.

Boat Ownership & responsibility, will help you learn Seamanship, present you with Electro-Mechanical challenges and most of all will help you maintain your SANITY !!!

Good Luck and good fishing. But foremost, exercise safety, courtesy and caution, and don't take any chances. It is 100% better to error on the side of safety.

YB, after reading this again, I realized you've primarily been inshore fishing. Sounds like you're going to have to gear up for near shore and offshore fishing. I, for one, have helped several people suffer through this process. However, with all of my experience, I'm willing to guide you, painlessly, through this ordeal. Send me your credit card and address, and everything you need to fish offshore will be delivered to your door. However, if you choose to accept my assistance, I take no responsibility for your angry wife, divorce expenses, or loss of life.

If you're referring to the picture in my signature, yes that's me.

If you're hesitant to accept my help because of the boat in that picture, I'll be glad to send you pictures of me in my other 2 boats, and a few phone numbers of angry women whose husbands I've helped in the past. :-D
