Salt Water Crickets
Is some one pulling my leg? Quote "Yellow Bluff has them now but they are going fast better get them in a hurry". Saw this on an Atlantic coastal fishing board. Am I just behind the curve or?

They are talking about fiddler crabs. The sheephead (up to 12 lbs) are running on the offshore reefs off the cost of GA right now. They prefer fiddler crabs over anything else.
Sorry about the disappointment. I was real supriosed two years ago when I started catching Sheepshead left and right at Pensacola pass on live shrimp. After the first three I switched over to my bottom rigs I had made up for Sheepshead and limited out on them three days running.
I guess different spots different baits. The coast of Ga has a lot of rubble reefs 8 to 10 miles offshore and they collect the sheephead, bsb abd huge Red Drum this time of year.
