I live in Killearn Lakes and had a similar problem when a dog that looked just like my yellow lab was going through folks yards. I was called and told he was in their yard "right now." I looked down at my dog, in our house next to me, and realized what was going on. When I walked over with my guy on his leash, it was kind of funny.

My real problem was my back neighbor who called animal control on another dog we had for a brief while. The guy would walk through the easement until the dog barked and then complain. He also set out antifreeze for the "squirrels" and poisoned out cat (who miraculously lived).

The moral of the story is this---THESE PEOPLE DON'T FISH! :)
Give a man a fish and he eats for a day. Teach a man to fish and the line at the boat ramp gets longer.

We have decided to keep the dogs and and just let this guy be who he is. I did not want to be at war with a new neighbor because "I'm a peaceful man" (quoting Eddie Murphy from Trading Places). He let me know that he doesn't care too much for "white trash" and has made a few comments about the HUD housing in Killearn Lakes. So, what I've decided to do is fence the back porch area of the backyard and keep the dogs in there during the day. At night, they'll go back into the laundry room. I hope they bark all day and I'm working on a few ways to ensure they do. The neighbor is a cop and works all odd hours, so hopefully he'll being trying to sleep during the day. Did I mention that I was introduced to this guy on Christmas morning at 6:00 AM ringing my doorbell continuosly till I reached the door? He complained that the dogs were yelping in our closed garage, yet we could not hear them in the house. He enjoys his "quiet time." Anyway, to be more "white trash", I have now moved the 22' boat to the front yard and am moving a friend's over this wekend as a "favor." We went and picked up our huge aluminum dog house and are going to put it right along the property line in the side yard next to his house....even though the dogs dont use it  I've also got an old aluminum boat that is going in the yard too. Maybe I'll let the wife use it as a planter. My K-5 needs new mufflers, but whats the point in replacing them now that school has started back and the kids have to be at school by 7:15 in the morning.....and with the cold weather the truck has to warm up for at least 15 minutes before we leave  Maybe before long, this guy will realize that we are nice people and that a little courtesy will go a long way and that you don't call animal control on your new neighbors just to make a point that you're a tough guy. I've got a few friends in law enforcement too, and they are really good at making me aware of the law. I'll keep you posted and thanks for the tips.....

I have found the best time to flush my moter is at 6am Sunday morning, old toilets make good planters, if you have spanish bayonets, cut up old egg cartons and decorate them, paper cups are fun in chain link, no need to take those christmas lights down makes it easier for next year, if you let your grass grow long enough it will reseed itself, and dont forget the attire of choice for checking the mail is boxer shorts with budweiser in hand. Good luck!

Take a page out of Jim Carry's book in Me, Myself and Irene and take a boo boo in his front yard yourself and clean up with his paper
