St. Marks 1/9/06

Launched from the LH @ 9:00 this morning and headed east. Fished Deep Creek all the way to the levee w/o a bite. Worked our way back west finally scoring 3 keeper trout on a spinnerbait around 2:30 p.m. Just before packing it in, we located a school of reds and were able to boat 9 on spinnerbaits and jigs.

As we were getting ready to go, some nut wearing a yellow sundress and fishing out of a boat with a semi-professional paint job and crooked BBF.Net stickers on the side, comes around a bend and starts yelling that we were catching his redfish and we had better move along. :o

I reported the incident to the "Man" as we were passing inspection at the ramp. He replied that he had had similiar reports and would be looking into it.

Great day on the water. Can't wait til next time.

Let's see I work twelve hours today and you and my "trusty" sidekick go fishing and leave me holding the bag.... :smt011

Think of all the fish you would of caught if you tried a straight jig

Sounds like a good Monday. Wasn't the breeze a little chilly for the sundress today?

I get no respect. And, it was a powder blue warmup suit. It matches my "trusty" sidekick, Cap'n Ding Dong's boat.:smt011

It's a good thing I didn't have my Daisy Red Rider with me.
