Well I would hafto say our local redfish population is doing very well these days. I fished a new creek this morning and found them at the very end in a spot about 2 ft. deep and about the size of my house, Ididnt see a single fish in in the whole creek until I reached that spot. Ithought I wasnt gonna get a single bite but that changed very quickly, after I landed 6 or 8 on straight jigs I switched to a top dog landed 2 on that, then tryed a red and white corky imitation landed 3 on that and a few more on the jig and came on back to the house. Stopped by Jerrys and after a photo of a fat 5 pounder I asked Scott if he would like fresh fish for dinner and he graciously accepted so it was a nice way to end a great day. Yall go catchum up

Without a doubt, the net ban has been good for our redfish.

That's awesome. What a way to spend a weekday.

Hail the power of exploration. Imagine what we find when we keep an open mind & try to find out things for ourselves.
Great report!
