Hey Yak, I would really like to get a group together to fish more often. I live for it in (& out of) my kayak. I'm to the point where I really think I enjoy it more with my kayak than a boat -at least in-shore, of course.
Stay in touch -I'd like to learn something about fishing. ;-)

Hey YAK,
Welcome to the Big Bend site! I need to talk with Billy in more detail about this coming Sat., but we enjoyed fishing with you last week. Yep--that fog was a bit of a surprise. Getting a club together a great idea. I have been contacted by two other new Tally yakers who are in the process of getting new rides, and want to join up with us also. You have my phone and e-mail, so keep in touch. Sorry you won't be able to make it on "Super Bowl Saturday".
Best,
Dick

Dick, had a blast though.
Went out on Fri and Sat. NO LUCK AT ALL :smt013
At least I saved the day for us that foggy Sat but not this weekend.
And to top that I was introducing a buddy to kayaking those days. :-D
NO fish were caught at all. We did paddle to CHINA though. :lick:
I used my new SEVEN2 carbon fiber paddle I just got.I feel like a real hot shot now.. Yeah, right.

Thats ok, The next trip I have a special place I'm goin. It better be in my new olive green fully rigged and tricked out Cobra.
I have a new secret weapon :smt012 Really space age stuff man..
I cant say what it is on the Internet .... The boys in the black suburbans will carry me off in the middle of the night.
Be good and paddle quite.

Sorry you had to meet up with the Great Skunk In The Sky (or wherever)! Billy and I are going to try to salvage your (and our) honor this coming Sat. Sorry you won't be able to join us. But take notes on how to rig for a whale shark, just in case we come across 1 (or 2)... :-D
Best,
Dick
