I keep hearing that my tackle box is 100 lbs, 50 lbs, etc.....I put it on the scale tonight 26.5 pounds....I figure I could find another 3.5 pounds of tackle to round it off to 30 :o

I quit taking my tackle boxes. Anymore, when I go I'll slip a tray into my pack, maybe two if I'm really undecided.

I'm still a tackle hog compared to Granpa Pulley. I used to go with him when he'd carry a few spare lures in a rusty coffee can. Used to say he was going to catch fish, if he wanted to carry a bunch of fishing tackle around, he could stay home and do that. :D

I could use a new system since after the first layer or two I lose track of whats in my tackle box. I suspect there are some melted artificials at the bottom.

I just read between the lines, and figured this out. THE BAG weighs 26.5 pounds.

Chalk, put the tackle back in the bag and weigh it again.
