As you can see, the protrusion on his left is part of his lower jaw, the front of his jaw is missing, the sides of his jaw are drawn in so that the teeth on both sides are exposed, even when his mouth is shut, the white thing that he seems to be resting his "chin" on is also part of his jaw.
I thought about rolling him over for a better shot, but didn't want to get him muddy.

It all seems to be healed over. I must have seen him before, but for some reason didn't notice this until yesterday. Both days he was sunning on Cherry Island.
On to the report. I didn't do squat until I got up to Cherry Island. Then caught four, two on a chartreuse Snagless Sally with a brown pork chunk frog and two on a Gold Johnson's Spoon with a white and yellow strip. All keepers, no shorts today. Cooler released one. A cooler release is where you throw him in the cooler and he's quicker flipping back out of the cooler and over the side than you are shutting the lid.

Called it quits about three and started back down to Lower Bridge. Again, didn't do squat all the way back down.
The kayakers seem to come in herds at times. Normally I only see one or two together. Today I saw thirteen in one herd. The most I've ever seen at one time was 14. I think that might have also been on a Sunday afternoon.

One of them, a young buck, "Are we almost there?" "Are we almost there, yet?" Glad I wan't with that group.

The hyper bole is still in the same place it was yesterday. Think if I had some way to get it, it would be in my yard.
