Good info TC.

I am glad that most of those as seen on TV gimmicks dont really work. If fishing wasnt a challenge it wouldnt be nearly as much fun. I say practice your craft and become a skilled fisherman and leave the gimmicks to the suckers.

I need to get some of that stuff to spray on my live pinfish I think! The article says the ingredient is also used in sunscreen, so if I put on sunscreen and get in the water, a shark can see me from much further away? That has got to suck! Anyone want to test out the shark theory? I'll swim around with no sunscreen, and one of you can slather up with waterproof SPF50 and swim around near me...

I'm thinking along the same lines... I might try putting some of that
"Bull Frog" sunscreen on my jigs to see if there is any difference. I know for a fact that if you have any residue of that stuff on your hands and touch the water in your live well it will kill every shrimp in your live-well. It might work well coating a jig of a plug....

Just a thought :-?

I have some "aquaintences" who use their electric shocker and sometimes dynamite in Lake Wimico. They say it works great.

Sounds like your "acquaintences" want to guarantee a fish catch. :-D
