Decent Rod & Reel Deal

Post by Littoral »

Cabelas has their own Tournament Trail Spinning Rod with a Shimano Symetre as a combo for $89. I figure the rods are decent but it's any size rod/reel which includes their Steelhead series. They are heavy weigh rods so I bet one of those with a 5000 series reel would make an a super deal on a heavyweight saltwater spinning set up for under $100.

BPS Spring sale that starts Saturday has the Shimano Sahara /Bionic Blade rod for $89.98. Not a bad deal either

I noticed yesterday that BPS has their Quantum Kinetic, Catalyst, and Energy reels on clearance. Looks like there is an updated model and they're trying to ditch these. $30-$40 dollars off their regular price. I know we have a couple of Quantum fans out there.
