St. Marks 2/27/06

Launched from the LH around 9:40. Due to the negative tide, I had to use the trolling motor to get down and out the canal. Headed east to fish a creek or 3. Picked up 2 trout over 20" on the flats out in front of a beautiful little creek. Saw plenty more. Managed to land 17 redfish up to 30" and 2 more trout in the creek. Caught the trout on a Shad Assassin and a Slug-go both rigged weedless with an offset worm hook. Caught the reds on the same Shad Assassin and spinnerbaits. Saw plenty of fish on the flats and the creeks. Looks like its going to be another banner year.

Can't wait til next time.

You'll do fine as lomg as you keep seeing and not catching.
Those few fish you put in the boat I don't call catching. Keep trying you'll learn how.
