Went west and killed 'em

Post by Jumptrout51 »

Had to go by myself today but, that was OK. Put in at the fort, went down river then west. Glad I did. Wish I had someone with me to keep more fish. Caught 6 reds all 20-26". Caught 13 trout, all 17-26". Mostly on topwater, some on jerkbaits.
All the fish were fat and aggressive.
Going again Saturday.
Going east then. I think.

Like a Redfin?
Hate you had to go by yourself, maybe you better start staying at home till someone can go with ya. Old men shouldn't be out on the ocean alone. 8) :-D
Also we got get you up to speed where you can start posting some pics so weekend warriors like myself can see some fish a little more often.

A friend of mine caught a 26 yesterday as well. There are no many trout in the 26-29 range in our area and I know of no (documented) trout caught around here making it to 30. My biggest is a 27 and I would have sworn it was 30 before I measured it (released).
