Dazed , confused and dont know what to do
Left mashes ramp and first stop at K tower 7:40 am no bites no nothing. Went out to Bryson had one good fish hit a jig and after about 15 sec the hook pulled
we fished that whole area for 2 more hrs. without another bite, headed northwest and fished another 6 or 7 spots in to 40 ft. with all spots having very good bottom contours and natural features, with out a bite. We had and tryed every bait except live, tuff day for sure but gotta hone up those FISHING
skills sometimes and I guess yesterdey was the day
How late did y'all stay? The afternoon shoulda been the best feed time
Your trip sounds a lot like the one I took with TC last month
I think we all have ta pay homage to the fishin gods every now and then

“Before you criticize someone, you should walk a mile in their shoes. That way when you criticize them, you are a mile away from them and you have their shoes.”

Speaking of K Tower, back before I enlisted in The Corps a couple other guys and myself would be religously watching Eyewitness news about this time of year. As soon as they reported the water temp at 65, we would be on our way dark and early the next Saturday to K Tower to spearfish amberjack.
This worked about three years in a row, but I don't know for sure if the amberjack still do that.

Dang PF. Sorry the dern thangs were so close-mouthed.
Strange part of it is, we have days like that, and find out someone else, was out there in a different place and brings um back..
I was just thinkin about it, this morning. 'Got to be some luck involved, or bad luck, on any given day. Probably some science to it too, moon phase or whatever. For sure I never had much faith in fishing calenders.
I guess if we knew it was gonna be a bad day we would just stay home.
That would kinda take the fun out of it, though.
Well, ya got that out of the way, maybe next time.....
