I think what I like is the simple-looking set-up and the curly wire.

I thought I did too...Too noisy for me, there is a delay from the the foot pedal to the motor turning as well...Some like it, the 24 volt has some gonads, strong motor...Let us know whatcha end up with....

Take the one you have,plug it into a 110 volt outlet you will have a curly wire.
