Anyone know the deal on it. It has been closed for "Construction".
What does that mean? Are they fixing the road or what?

The Air Force was gonna buy that land at one time, anybody know the status on that?

They were doing fixes to the dikes and levees last summer before Hurricane Dennis came through and it was scheduled to be closed for 6-8 months. The latest update I can find on it is from July 12,2005 that said they are still assessing the damage from Dennis.

I've seen the construction equipment on the hill while fishing out in front. Hopefully they will improve the road going in. :thumbup:
