Had to work on the coast starting at 9:00 am so I might as well get there early. Put the kayak in at 6:30 & didn’t catch anything until about an hour later. Caught 9 nice trout, all about 19", give or take an inch. I tried 4-5 different lures but they wanted the Mirro Lure 52MR. That sure has been my go lure to since winter started. Hated to leave at 8:30 but I sure ain't complaining. Kept 3 for supper.
:D :lick:

Sounds like a good morning to me, Lit.

What type of retrieve do you find most productive when fishing the 52MR?

Usually slow and on the stop but no short answer yesterday. A couple hit before it even seemed to hit the water & some did hit deep & slow. One must have picked it up off the bottom after I had to leave it there to deal with gear in the kayak.

Hi, took a while tp get back on line & in a hurry now:
Wind was down early & then up 8:30-9:30, then it laid down decent between 10 & about 1 - you saw the rest -it reallt came up out of the east then.
East wind, no fish?
Ha Ha.
