:-D Weather permitting this weekend or next should be on fire. :-D I plan on being at Ecofina Sunday with the family. I can't wait, the look on my boy's face when he gets a fish or I let him drive the boat is priceless. :-D  :-D

AS GOOD AS IT GETS FOR SURE!

One of my sons from Atlanta should be down with me this weekend.
He made his first trip to Anky at about age 7-8 and
now he's 37. :-D Don't ever remember a "bad" trip
either....no matter the fishing, weather, etc.

Enjoy!
It may be that my sole purpose in life is simply to serve as a warning to others.

This weekend should be great, the water should be warming up this week with the temps being in the 80s for the rest of the week. Last weekend was a probably a tough weekend with the cooler weather that came through. Good luck!!

FISH ON FLATS?

Post by CROCKER »

REDSS, I HAVE BEEN DOWN EVERY WEEKEND FOR THE PAST 4 WEEKENDS. I START ON THE FLATS AND WORK MY WAY IN. MOST OF THE FISH I HAVE SEEN HAVE BEEN WITHIN 200 YARDS OF THE SHORE LINE. I HAVE CAUGHT VERY FEW TROUT ON THE FLATS, HOWEVER I TEND TO MAKE SURE I AM IN RED FISH AREAS AT THE BEST FEEDING TIMES. I DO KNOW THE FEW TROUT I HAVE CAUGHT AND SEEN NEAR SHORE WERE ON THE LARGE SIDE.
