Lake Jackson

Got out of the office about 3:30 and didn't have a house to show tonight.
Needed to clear the cobwebs out of the brain.
Convinced the wife to sit on the front of the boat while I fished.

Put in at the 27 landing- one deep hole that was enough to get the boat launched- but it is still VERY shallow.

Ran out the channel and fished the pads and grass beds- that is about the entire lake- with top water and slugos. Caught six bass- lost four others in the grass. they were all under the 18" limit but it was fun. Most were about 15"

It was great to watch the sun go down with my bride and catch a few fish!

Fishing's the best way I know to clear the cobwebs. Glad you got to go.

I miss fishing Jackson at night. Used to go all the time.
