Lake Blackshear 2/13/03

Post by seatrout99 »

Hit the water on Blackshear with Shoalbrother last night around 7:00 pm. Beautiful evening on the water with mild temps and no wind. Fished around the docks with ultralight gear and jigs. Ended up boating 12 or 13 stripers, 2 white bass, and 2 largemouths in about two hours. When the moon came up, the fish seemed to turn off and we called it a night. Had a great time and learned quite a bit about jig fishing last night. Thanks, SB. Also saw Copperbelly out and about on the lake. I think they boated a few nice stripers as well.

Thanks.
