Sheep Herding....

Post by MstrBaiter »

haven't posted in awhile, been busy w/ work and what not. Wanted to meet you guys at the social, but had to go out of the country on business for 8 days and it happen to involve that weekend. Anyway, hope everyone over here has been tearing them up....

a few shots of this saturdays catch off of Dauphin Island....bama. We must have caught 50+ weighing anywhere from 3-8+ lbs. Didn't keep them all, but enough to fill the cooler. If you have never tried sheephead, I would suggest doing so.....good stuff i tell ya, they call it baysnapper around here. Sorry if the pic comes out sideways..... :-? the ol' photobucket accnt has been acting up here lately...Picked up a few trout and a flounder sunday in dog river (empties into mobile bay) and lost a couple of stout trout at the boat......but woulda ya do....sometimes you get the trout.....sometimes the trout gets you....

Apprece the kind words guys  We were fishing some natural gas rigs (SAY NO TO OPEN LOOP LNG). Got into them last week off of the jetties around ft. morgan/dauphin island area also, but none that size. You can pull up to some of the rigs around here this time of year and see 20-30 swimming around eating the barnicles off of the legs of the rig......

a couple from yesterday & this morning....
