I thought you would like that picture....

Alright....My son had a little procedure this morning, everything went well and we were back home by 10:00...Like a crack addict needing a fix, I was jones'n for a few hours on the water...My wife gave me the nod and I got my stuff ready.

Slid the ghostrider into the creek at 1200....Stopped at a spot on the way out, nothing...I saw some stumps..that worried me...I have run through there :o

Hit one of my creeks.....really clear water... saw several redfish, had one follow my lure, but no dice...I wanted to goto the creek me and Tincan found a few months back but there was two other boats in there.

So, I twist my arm and talk myself into to going back to the place me and Tom were at on Sunday...I went a little further south, because the NOAA forecast for north wind turning to west wind was coming out of the south :-?

I immediately start seeing redfish and bait...basically spent the next four hours working the bank and exploring creeks....Saw another good trout, she didn't want my offerings....Caught redfish on topwater, jerk baits and yes I finally caught something on a spoon  ...I eased up to a creek and saw two reds cruising the mouth....I pitch to the lead, it swipes at the lure...this is all within 10 foot of the boat....I pitch again and the lead redfish's wingman comes up from behind and nails the lure....I'm fighting the fish and count a total of six redfish around me....three are cruisng with the one I'm hooked up with....I pick up another rod and came real close to have a double hook up :o

More or less saw about 30 redfish...caught 5...hooked up with 8...My rash feels better at the moment, but I have a feeling it will start itching again come Friday

I believe that may be one of those rashes that keep spreading. I'm pretty sure I'm starting to itch heavily. 8)

Forgot to mention there was an old timer launching when I was loading up...He said, "Did you leave me any?" I told him what I had done...He told me where some trout were caught...Told him about the big one I caught the other day..He said, "That ones going on the wall ain't it?" I told him I let it go....you should of seen the look he gave me

  Nice reds, Chalk. That lure looks like a skidder-walk, rainbow trout color. I got one looks like a baby redfish, haven't caught anything on it yet. But you just encouraged me. :-D
