I felt sick Thursday night so I went for some saltwater therapy Friday morning. The wind blew hard all day and the sun didn't come out near enough for me but I got to feeling better almost right away. Started out near Patty's Island and from 0730 til 1300 I had one 18.5" keeper and two shorts to show for it. I was fixin to leave when I thought I would try one more drift (at almost 3 mph) near where I had started. I boated a 19.5", 2-17.5 and eight 15.5-16.5"ers (that I threw back while looking for one over 20") from 1300 til 1430. I finally kept another 17.5" and headed home.
Boy, do I feel better now!
All these fish were caught in 3.5' or less and most on a CT/SWA rig.
