Hobie Quest vs. Prowler 13
Trying to decide between these two boats. Anybody own either one? Goods? Bads? Thanks in advance.
Here's the links. Very similar boats. Also, has anyone had and experience with the smaller Ocean Kayak models? I like these two boats because I think they would offer a bit more speed than a smaller boat but I am always willing to listen to another opinion.

Went with the Hobie Quest
Just got my Quest and love it so far. One for me and one for my wife. Were looking forward to a summer full of fishing. Hopefully we will meet some of you out on the water.

Before going with Quest we tried several other kayaks. Definitely glad I tried some of them out. Out of those test the Quest and Prowler came out on top and the Quest ultimately won due to the fishing bells and whistles as well as a few preferred design features like the forward hatch and seat. I will certainly due some overnight trips once fall rolls around and like you said the Quest should work well for that.
hobie kayak
just bought a hobie adventure. The beam is close to the wilderness systems tarpon and paddles just a well. Out in the bay at lanark in a 20+mph wind I managed to hook two reds but only landed one cause I was fighting wind and chop. The adventure did great. The mirage drive is awsome. No need to put down my rod and my red. The boat does great in heavy seas. This boat is pricy but much less than a Hewes. The sail is great fun too. I did not like the other hobies because they did not paddle as well but others I have talked to like theirs as well as I do. This is the boat if you want to pay the price for the best. Just my opinion after owning sea kayaks for many years and renting everything that floats to make decision.
