Chalk, 7" Texas Factory Jerk Bait?

I was wondering if there is a 7" Texas Jerk Bait. I was messing around with one Sunday in the backyard. I pulled on it, I cut it, and cast it for about 30 minutes. The ones I have I bought in Pensacola and haven't used one on the pond yet. They are very durable and the 5" ones cast very well. So the question is, Do they make a 7" Jerk Bait? (White of course) If so, how can I get one on my hook?

The trout killer is the biggest fluke they have, they have smaller ones as well.

About the same size as an Exude....The Chartreuse is an Exude and the ones below it are Trout Killers.

I would recommend cutting a hook pocket in the belly if you like them, they are durable but that can make for a difficult hook set....There is a good article on using the Trout Killer IIs as a walk the dog type bait in this months South Florida Sport Fishing magazine.

Thanks, I was just wondering about a 7". I will go back to a 5" during the Summer when the water warms. The fish don't seem to like a big bait during the Summer. I know I don't have much of an appetite during that time of year

. As far as a hook pocket I only hook mine one time through the nose. It seems to cast better and have better action.

Thems anit secrets, What works for me doesn't mean it will work for others.

Everybody fishes different and they must find what works for them.

Exactly - case in point put BD with troutkiller JT51 and all he can catch is redfish

...or Bass Assassin Lures with a 7" Shad Assassin available (pictures are kinda crappy but the lures are real nice in person)

I think when he failed to remove the boat from the trailer and it hit the ground it jarred his head. He was unable to distinguish red from trout from trout to red from red to trout etc. Get my drift?

You were the one in the boat. It was my job to back the trailer in the water. I did my job. It was your job to remove the boat from the trailer. In fact you did that. Only problem was it was 6 feet from the water.

I use the 7" BassAssassin now. Its just a very soft bait, That being said the softness does give it good bending action in the water. So who knows, a durable bait may not be the way to go.

I use a lot of their baits. They're as tough as the Texas Tackle baits.

...if you're looking for a 'tougher' plastic bait check out the Strike King 3X series. I've found it to be very durable though I haven't found one larger than 5". There's upside and downside to them all I suppose. I just got a batch of the 7" Fin - S from Lunker City. I'll post with info on their durability as soon as work let's me fish again

(going to Pensacola tomorrow so I may get a chance to sneak some time in)
