Kayak rental
Great forum guys...
I will be coming down to the Big bend for a couple weeks in June.
Does anyone know of a place near Bald Point to find a reasonably priced Yak rental for a week?
I don't need a fully decked boat.
Just something to take out from the beach with the family.

TnT Hide-A-Way is a board sponsor and rents canoes and kayaks. Here is their website: http://www.tnthideaway.com/ They are located on the Wakulla river where Highway 98 crosses over it. Should be easy to find and right on your way.

Hey woo,
Welcome to the site, and to the Big Bend! TnT is an excellent place to rent. Another good place that I have used is the Wilderness Way on the Woodville Highway. They have a good rental selection, including the Hobies with the Mirage (pedal) Drive--my favorites.

Thanks for the reply guys.
I will check out the leads.
It's nice to find a "Local" board for an area that is not a tourist trap.
Around the end of June, if you see a Saturn wagon driving around with hippie stickers all over it, that be me......
(It's my wife's car)
Edit:typo

Yeah, not yet. But it won't last long. I don't see any sign that Wakulla County has learned anything from the mistakes that other communities have made over and over again.woowoo wrote:It's nice to find a "Local" board for an area that is not a tourist trap.
