Inshore combos?

I fall back on the old reliables. As far as baitcasters, I use Abu Garcia. I use the 6500 in the C4 and C3 models. Don't like a thumbar so that's why I've stayed with these reels over many years. I mount mine on 6'6" or 7' All Star rods.

Ken, I did mean to say Calcutta. I guess I said Curado because I have several of those that I bass fish with. To clarify, the cardiff and Calcutta have the same internal parts.

That said, I do like the Curado. But it doesn't hold up nearly as well in salt water. So I only use mine in fresh water.

The Cardiff or Calcutta would be good choices for both fresh and salt applications.
