NOT CATCHIN ST. MARKS WEST

Post by FUTCHCAIRO »

THE TWO MEN OF THE SEA AND ROY LAUNCHED THE BOAT AT THE LIGHTHOUSE POOL, FIRST THING OFF THE BAT THE BATTERY DIED SINCE YESTERDAY AFTERNOON, WAS FINE THEN, PULLED THE BATTERY OUT OF THE CAR AND PUT IN THE BOAT, SHE FIRED RIGHT UP. WENT OUT TO THE NUMBERS WE WERE ON FRI. AWEEK AGO AND WE FISHED TILL OUR ARMS NEARLY FELL OFF. FINALLY CAUGHT 8 TROUT AND HAD 3 KEEPERS TO TAKE HOME, NOT A VERY PRODUCTIVE DAY. THE WATER WAS CLEAR, WIND WAS OUT OF THE S.E TO S. THE WHOLE TIME WE WERE THERE. TEMP WAS 74 DEGREES AND ALL IN ALL A VERY BEAUTIFUL DAY ON THE WATER.

8 ain't bad, Pa.

By the way, your newly acquired outboard has a 6 amp alternator. The power trim and tilt draws 10 amps. The alternator won't keep the battery charged if you use the trim and tilt very much. Hook the battery charger up about every other trip, and you'll be fine.
What was I supposed to do today?

YEA, AUCILLA WHEN YA GET TO MY AGE, YOU CAN REMEMBER THINGS THAT HAPPENED BACK IN 1925 BETTER THAN THINGS THAT HAPPENED A WEEK AGO. AND TALK ABOUT NAMES, IT IS HARD FOR ME TO REMEMBER SOMEONE I MET SEVERAL DAYS AGO, AND YET I CAN REMEMBER MY 1 ST GRADE TEACHER AND MANY OF MY CLASSMATES. I GUESS YA COULD SAY I AM GETTING (THAT OLD TIMERS DISEASE_)
