Anky last week few pics

Post by RHTFISH »

Spent a great week at THE HIDEOUT!

Lots of trout with about 1 in 4 keepers 20"+....largest 25" and several
23-24" during the week.

Can't find pinfish? I really don't understand where they are?

39" cobia on Monday about noon..1 hour 20 min fight with storm
looming overhead...quite the deal on 10# power pro that's five years old!
Image

Stormed off and on for about 3 days and area got some much needed
rain so no complaints.
Image

Got on flats about 3:45 Saturday morning for some "moonlitin" with
Chug Bug....awesome time! Beautiful is an understatement!
Highlight was a 20# sailcat that jumped three times like a tarpon...
unreal!

Thanks PA!

I enjoy reading your reports always and remembered you like
those moonlit nights also...I agree about it being a real rush...
I believe the fish hit a topwater harder at night than in daylight! :-D

I left the ramp at Anky and never cut on a light until I stopped
about 2 miles east of Aucilla...then it was just to make sure my
lures were on properly. I usually line up on the blinking
light at Econfina and the towers west and east of Aucilla.

Continued good fishing!
