I had a call from him last evening. He's in very good spirits and wanted me to make sure I told everybody how much he appreciates all the prayers and the wonderful communication from the folks on the forum and the area in general. He's said every time we've spoke about how "I never knew I had so many friends"! :-)

He also mention the information that Jumptrout51 has already shared. I ask him specifically how he wanted any information handled about his condition and treatments and he said he had no problem at all. He feels, and the doctors seem to be saying that the worst and most risky is behind them. That being said, there is still a significant need for continued prayer and our support. The surgery was apparently as successful as could ever be expected. There seems to be no negative neurological effect. His wife says there is a very small part of his lip that doesn't seem to move when he speaks but Randle says now that his beard is gone...."She's see'n my lip for the first time in 30 years"! They did verify that Randle has a tumor on the upper right lobe of his right lung. He said they indicated the size was aprox 3 centimeters by 4 and that it could be a situation that no surgery would be necessary if the Chemo was effective. Even if surgery were later needed the amount of lung that would need to be remove would not be debilitating. He's going to be starting Chemo in the next week or so. He did say that he wants anyone who believes in prayer to please continue to lift him up. :D From my view we should not forget Carol as well.
"Good Judgement" comes from experience, ... and a lot of that..... results from "Bad Judgement".
