As a middle school teacher I often noticed that the "children" amongst the class would start to act out to avoid an assignment.
Does somebody here need a timeout?

No timeout necessary, Lit. The boy came up with the nickname himself. I feel it my responsibility, as his friend, to call him by the nickname. :-D
What was I supposed to do today?

Here's the story, short version.....Chalk says, "Boss, I need some more work." Now I'm the training manager for one of the largest project's on base, have an intern, a direct support contractor and 10 other contractors reporting to me....hence my new nickname DA

Moral of the story is, never ask for more work, DA.....

Hey, that's what I been sayin'-- The article that is.. Just kiddin'. I'm still learning and probably will be 'til the day I die.
Actually, the basic theory is the pretty much the same as, being successful at anything, one see's fit to do- golfing, flying, skiing, whatever. Mostly attitude, practice, and planning (strategy).

Thanks, all. I remember the McBride site, and y'all are right, there's lots of good stuff there. All these tips are good ... I'm gonna give the big fish another chance.
