Massey Sands Boat Ramp & AJ's

Post by baldy »

My bro-N-law's and I were going after some AJ's Sunday morning and planned on putting in at Massey around low tide. I haven't put in there in a few months and was wondering if it was still difficult to get in an out of there at low tide (-.56). Also we were going to the Wak/Oar reefs to fight with the AJ's, has anyone seen any out there in the last couple of days? Are any of the other reefs better? Appreciate the help.......Baldy

Do yourself a favor and Drive to Carrabelle, put in at Timber Island or the Tiki Bar and run to the Yamaha Reef for the AJ's. No way you'll be able to get out at Mashes in the morning.

Thanks Tom. I just found your excellent website, you obviously put a lot into it. Never fished Yamaha, think I'll take your advise and try it. Many thanks......Baldy

Take some white jigs. You should have no trouble getting them. Glad I could help.
