5/29/06 What's up with no fish? I USED to catch 'em!

Fished hard last few weeks, and to date I have put only five grouper in the boat. What gives? I think the red tide/hurricane Dennis/water from Katrina have done a lot more damage than we think. The only people catching have been out by SM-1, or the template.

I fished several dependable numbers in the 30, 40, 50, 60, 70-foot ranges with hardly any results. I also tried the old AJ standbys (O, K, Bryson, Yamaha) and caught only a big Jewfish at Yamaha. I SAW a lot of Ajs at O, but caught none. A friend caught several nice AJs on blue runners at K on Saturday though.

What gives? I heard only bad reports at the dock in Lanark.
