Crate Mate Prototype.

Post by RonHarrison »

Found some pictures of a prototype Crate Mate from 3rd Grip over on another forum I frequent (PaddleZone.Net - Nice bunch of kayak fisherman!) and wanted to share them with everyone here. Definitely caught my eye!

Originally posted in late January with an ETA of a "couple of months out", so not sure what the real ETA might be. Wraps around a standard file crate that you supply. Raised pockets with drains. Shoulder strap. 3-rod tool/lure holder. Rigid top with zippered, clear pocket for charts. Side and back pocket built for a Plano 3600.

This one is sized to fit the smaller crates and smaller tankwells. I have one of the original full sized crate mates and love it. It fits perfect in the tankwell of my Bimini. Holds 3 plano 3700 boxes, assorted bags of soft plastics, vhf radio, leader spools, measuring stick, pliers, and other assorted fishing tackle.
