Hey Terrier, fished your pond Sunday. All pictured fish caught on light line and natural swimming baits. Smaller fish 3.50 lbs, two larger ones 7.4 and 7.7.

We fished from sun up until noon. Fish were caught around coon tail grass
on drop offs from 8 to 14 feet deep. The natural swimming baits were lake
shinners which we catch in the lake. We also caught several smaller fish on black and junebug worms. Seems the larger fish will not reguarly hit a worm and the smaller fish will not hit a shinner.

I've always heard shiners are the way to go on Lake Hall. Big bass can be few and far between on artificals. I've had some luck on big Yamamoto grub worms and jig worms. Also, bass on jerkbaits seem to run larger than bass caught on worms on Lake Hall, but good luck fishing anything with trebles in the summer.
