Left lighthouse 6:15 or so. Actually chilly running.
Found some reds early, about 8-9am on the rise. Had a double hookup with 2 keepers to a honkin 27"er w/ 4 spots .
Trout were only punching topwater plugs again, not interested in jigs or suspenders, or DOA's. Managed 3 keepers. Probably 15-20 misses. Tons of floating grass made it tough to fish topwater though.
Saw two "threatened" manatees which was cool.
Saw a fella in a panga slam a rock. Hope he wasn't too banged up. He limped out of there.
REEL, GLAD YA WERE ABLE TO BRING A MESS HOME. I HOPE THEY WILL STILL BE THERE MON. MY SON-IN-LAW, DAUGHTER, AND GRANDSON ARE COMING UP SAT. AND WE WILL TRY OUR LUCK MON. MORNIN EARLY. THANKS FOR THE REPORT.
