A Bay Charter

Post by 1-850-Bay-Fish »

Hi everyone Captain Gary Goodrich here from A Bay Charter 1-850-bay-fish in Port St Joe, Florida .Fishing is good here along this forgotten coast with most every type fish waiting to take your bait.
The Trout are hitting the rebel jointed 4 1/2 inch lipped lure in silver and blue the best , but live bait is also taking as many. The popping cork with a red and white curly tail grub is also putting them in the boat. Red fish are taking the top dog in bone color , a gold spoon or live mullet . The red fish are also still taking cut bait also fish finder rigged off any beach. The flounder are biting as well using live bait such as mullet or bull minnows. The Spanish are hitting most everything and trolling with a spoon works as well as anything for a limit. The kings are taking free lined mullet , trolled mullet with a skirt or of course cigs trolled with a skirt. The dolphin can be taken around the channel markers as well with small 2 inch mullet if you can get passed the blue fish , jacks and spade fish. Tarpon are here around the outside of the beach and are taking crabs. The cobia are also along the beach outside the cape and we have taken one only using a gold spoon . Not enough out there to just target them but keep out a jig to throw .
Good luck and have a Safe trip
Captain Gary Goodrich
