good day in jax....

Post by mudcat »

Went out the on Friday to an area called clapboard creek here in jax. Paddled up the a spot were another large creek (cedar Point) flows in to clapboard......dead low tide and a howling wind......staked out on the edge of a sand bar about 30 feet from the ledge of the channel that runs into clapboard....tossed out a muddy on a fish finder rig, a live shrimp on another and started jiggin with a gulp jerk shad...within an hour and a half i had 6 flounder and 5 trout....all on the artificial (even caught 2 flounder on top water plugs...go figure). Only thing caught on the lives was a stingray....
