Lanark Father's Day

Post by noleflyfisher »

My girls asked me if I wanted to fish today. After a little arm twisting, I reluctantly agreed to hitch the boat up and head to the coast. The ladies next tell me they would like to relax on the beach while I fished. Again, after some arm twisting, I give in. I set them up and jump back in the boat to fish a flat within earshot. I haven't been down in awhile so I wasn't sure if this flat still held fish. This toad answered my question in a hurry:

I kept moving and continued to see fish. Ended the afternoon with 8-10 reds all within sight of my girls:

Dude, I wish you would catch some fish every now and then.
