An exuberant amount of large sharks have been reported in the shallow grass flats though...

Hi all! This may be good news for all of you fisherman that are trying to scare off the scallopers, but here goes...
We swam and towed Lanark today for 3 hours. Water was very cloudy for the most part and we did not see a single live scallop.
We are opting to try a different locale all together for the family scallop outing.

Saturday we went to the beach area north of the birdrack: no scallops
went to the sandbar 1 mile east of Live oak island: no scallops.
To echo the previous poster, I caught two 5 foot sharks at the entrance to the west flats trench Saturday.
