On the water before daylight. Went to my secret early morning spot. Caught 1 on a rattle trap and 1 on a texas rig. Started checking summer spots. Most were barron. Pulled up on one ledge that wasn't. First cast, missed fish. Second cast, 6 pounder. Third cast, 3 pounder. Quickly left that spot. Didn't do much any where else. Maybe they'll still be there Sunday. I need the points.

I'm going to that spot Saturday and see how many I can catch.
